The province of Surat Thani is located in the south of Thailand. It is the province of the islands of Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao but also that of the superb national park of Khao Sok and its lake.

Koh Samui, famous for its white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and luxury resorts remains the number one destination for tourists in Surat Thani, Koh Tao, the preferred island for diving and Koh Phangan, famous for his Full Moon Parties on the beach. the city of Surat Thani offers very little tourist interest. On the other hand, it is a crossing point for plane + ferry or train + ferry combinations to the islands of the Gulf of Thailand mentioned above.
