Many foreign embassies indicate that the provinces of the far south of Thailand, Pattani, Narathiwat, Yala, are prey to occasional explosive attacks, due to an insurrection separatist. The province of Songkhla also suffered smaller attacks. They recommend to tourists to never go in thoses provinces..The province of Pattani is a destination steeped in Malay culture, ancient temples, the best known of which is Wat Chang Hai Rat Buranaram, and preserved natural landscapes.< /p>
Visitors can also explore the area's bustling markets as well as tranquil beaches along the coast.
Having not inspected the province like I normally do because I cannot encourage you to go there, I cannot really tell you more about its tourist attractions.
