What to see in Buriram

Buriram city only has a few notable attractions and none can compete with the Phanom Rung temple fifty kilometers far away. This is essentially this khmer temple that attracts tourists in Buriram or in Nang Rong a little closer to it.
I also listed at the end of the page some good tours, excursions and activities that you can do in Buriram or from Buriram. Click here to see them.

Khmer temple built on top of an extinct volcano . You access to it by a long paved walkway and a beautiful staircase. Very unique! With the temple of Phimai, these are the two finest Khmer temples in Thailand.

Prasat Muang Tam

8 km from the Phanom Rung, this small Khmer temple has been wonderfully restored. A visit to do before or after Phanom Rung visit.
