For the first time in its history, Thailand hosted a international MotoGP in the Buriram circuit, the international circuit of Chang. This race is on the calendar of the next three seasons 2018, 2019 and 2020 before perhaps a renewal for the following seasons. It is a big step forward for this circuit which also aspires of hosting a Formula 1 Grand Prix one day.
