What places to visit in Trang?
What to see in Trang
Trang city does not have a lot of attractions. You may consider to have a look at Phra Pothisat Kuanim and its large statue on the hill behind the train station or Wat Tantayaohirom and its large white chedi.

This temple perched on a small hill about thirty kilometers north fromTrang city of is really worth a visit! For the temple itself but also and especially for the view it offers at the top. At the summit, not just from the part with the chedi. It is a recommended place to admire the sunrise.

This small island is, of the 3 most famous islands in Trang province, namely Koh Mook, Koh Kradan and Koh Ngai, the one I prefer because, unlike the other 2, it has a real local life and is not just an island for tourists. It definitely changes the experience !

This island off the coast of Trang province is best known for its picture postcard beaches. Fine white sand, turquoise waters, you are in paradise on Koh Kradan which lives only on tourism and has no local life out of season.

Die kleine Insel Koh Ngaï hat einen ziemlich langen weißen Sandstrand mit türkisfarbenem Meer und einen etwas kleineren und geheimeren. Sie können hier problemlos schnorcheln.

The visit to this partly flooded cave is quite an adventure! You can take a boat with experienced boatmen to the cave, which you can visit partly on foot, and during the navigation you often have to lie on the boat, almost brushing against the ceiling. Sensations guaranteed!

This botanic garden about ten kilometers from Trang is best known for its Canopy Walkway, a set of bridges suspended through the trees which culminates at 18 meters and allows you to walk at the top of the canopy. The rest of the park has interesting vegetation.
Other nice places to visit in Trang

starstarstar This small floating market is not really worth it for its floating market side but for its access to the river with an interesting swimming area for children. It's a good place to eat Thai food, relax and cool off while wading in the water.
starstarstar This more than a century old wooden train station is one of the oldest and probably the most beautiful in Thailand. Still in use, it has not been renovated or modified, just maintained, since its opening in 1913 and became an historical monument.
starstarstar This private park is a place that owes its reputation to its assemblies of tree branches forming sculptures of dragons. It is also a place that wants to make its visitors aware of the preservation of nature and the philosophy of sufficiency economy.
starstarstar This beach, located 40 kilometers from downtown Trang , is the most popular in the area. A lot of families come here on weekends and public holidays. Its pier is also the starting point for excursions or transfers to Koh Ngai, Koh Kradan and Moh Mook islands.

starstarstar This park located about thirty kilometers south of Trang city center has naturally hot mineral water with therapeutic virtues (it is particularly good for blood circulation). There are several pools designed to immerse your feet or your entire body.
