The park covers approximately 80,000 square meters in a lowland region at the foot of the hills, including the Kao Wang, Khuan Kaeng and Nam Rab national forests. Mainly made up of tropical forests, parts of the park are home to peat swamps where water gushes to the surface, forming natural hot springs. The soil is rich in various types of rock, including red scree, brown sandstone and shales. The minerals contained in hot water, beneficial for the circulatory system.
If the park is large and also has raised walkways to explore the forest, visitors mainly come to the area where the hot springs have been arranged into three pools with temperatures oscillating between 40 and 55°C. You can immerse yourself completely in the largest pool. Otherwise, it is often only their feet that visitors put in the water.
The park offers several facilities including nine private bathrooms (I did not ask the prices because for me, there is something to do with the collective pools). Additionally, it offers three nature study trails, with respective lengths of 500 meters, 750 meters and 2000 meters, allowing visitors to explore the biodiversity of the region.
