The Dragon Tree Sculpture Garden is a private botanical garden very close to the Lae Khao Khob Cave. It is interesting and became known especially for its dozens of dragon sculptures made from the assembled tree branches. It is a pleasant place to visit and its founder, a retired teacher who speaks very good English, is a friendly character who enjoys talking with visitors and encourage them to protect the nature.

In Thai, the place is called Wang Theptaro which means around the Thep Tharo which is the type of tree used for the dragon sculptures. It is an auspicious tree of which several parts are used.
