Four times a year, the Khmer temple of Phanom Rung in Buriram Province in northeastern Thailand is the scene of a rare phenomenon with the sun rising or setting in line with the 15 gates of the temple. And for in early April, a big festival with ceremony, procession and show of dances and sounds and lights is organized in the temple at the same moment.
