Must-sees & Must-Dos in Phitsanulok?

What to do and see in Phitsanulok

Phitsanulok tourist attractions are essentially its big temple (Wat Yai in thai) and the chedi templ facing it. In the evening the night market on Nan river bank is nice.

also known as Wat Yai, it is an important place of pilgrimage for the Thai. Its Chinnarat Buddha is one of the most revered in the country.

This pond has a species of amazing water lilies. People come here to see them of course but also... to stand on them. Because yes, they can support the weight of a man. It is the funny and curious visit in Phitsanulok. A place that few people know.

Sukhothai

สุโขทัย
My opinion :
starstarstarstarstar
Located about sixty kilometers from Phitsanulok, Sukhothai has the most beautiful historical park in Thailand with ruins from the time when the city was the capital of the Kingdom of Siam. It is certainly the most important and beautiful historical site in Thailand and, for me, a must-visit place that people often visit via Phitsanulok, as it is the nearest city with a train station. Better to stay in Sukhothai than to take the day trip from Phitsanulok.
