Let's trek for 1 day in Chiang Rai mountains to 2 hill tribes villages and a waterfall with a local guide.
Details
8:30 am:You will be picked up directly from your hotel in Chiang Rai.
Your guide will drive you to Aphapattana village where Akha hill tribe lives. The trek in Chiang Rai mountains will begin from there. You will cross bamboo forests and plantations on the hills including rice fields (depending on the season) then reach the village of Yafu where the inhabitants are Lahu, another hill tribe living in the area. You will cook and eat lunch in the village
After the meal, you will continue your trek to a waterfall for a refreshing swimming break before walking the last stage of the trek through the mountains and the forests to return to the Akha village.
But the tour will not be finished yet, you will then go to the local fresh food market of Wat Huay Pla Kang temple to taste fresh local fruits. Then you will be sent back to your hotel at around 5 pm.
