Things to do in Chiang Rai
From a trek to is the most common activity. Chiang Rai is the ideal starting point to the mountains to meet the nature or tribes. This still requires a good physical condition
Down the river Kok in general it has done for up to Thaton Chia ng Rai but other routes are possible
Have a look at the night bazaar this night market offers a variety of souvenirs stalls and small restaurants
Spend the day with elephants , there are several elephant camps. The ethical offer that I want to encourage is this half day with elephants near Chiang Rai.
