The province of Uttaradit is located in the lower part of northern Thailand, a little north of that of Phistanulok . It is a peaceful destination very little visited by foreign tourists which seduces Thais with its natural beauty and rural charm. Phu Soi Dao National Park is one of the most popular places, offering scenic hiking trails and spectacular panoramas. the city itself is less interesting.
Travelers can also experience Uttaradit's rich cultural heritage by visiting sites such as the province's National Museum, which houses historical artifacts, and the ancient temple of Wat Phra Thaen Sila At, with its impressive sacred cave . Uttaradit is on the Northern train line.
