Your Travel Guide to Thailand
All information & tips to prepare your trip in Thailand
Lamphun province is located in the north of Thailand, a little south of Chiang Mai. Much less visited by foreign tourists, it nevertheless has a history and interesting places. There are still a few foreigners who come to visit Wat Phra That Hariphunchai, a revered temple which dates back to the 11th century, with its impressive architecture reminiscent of that of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai.
