What places to visit in Nakhon Pathom?

What to see in Nakhon Pathom

People mainly come to Nakhon Pathom to see the Wat Phra Pathom Chedi, known as the largest Buddhist monument in the world. It is an impressive monument where believers are numerous at almost any time day or night. The visitor who comes to Nakhon Pathom sometimes forget to go visit in Sanam Chan Palace, a beautiful Royal Palace easy to find. About thirty kilometers away from the city, there is the Putthamonthon Park self-proclaimed as world center of Buddhism. It primarily its superb walking Buddha, the largest in the world, that people come to see but it also contains the Canon pali marble temple and several small places that represent milestones in Lord Buddha's life.

The largest Buddhist monument in the world with its 127 meters high stupa. A important place for Buddhism in Thailand as it was erected where Buddhism was introduced into the country more than 2000 years ago.

Wat Samphran (Dragon Temple)

It is with the Phra Pathom Chedi, the other must-see temple in the province. It is unique with its large 80-meter-high red tower and a dragon wrapped around. The ascent is done by walking inside the body of the dragon. The temple's garden are also pleasant and interesting.

Jesada Technik Museum

เจษฎา เทคนิค มิวเซียม
My opinion :

It is probably the most important and impressive museum of antique vehicles in Thailand. Those who are passionate about vintage cars will probably linger there for hours, but it is also an interesting visit for others.
