Must-sees & Must-Dos in Koh Kradan?

What to do and see in Koh Kradan

Koh Kradan is a small island so apart from its beaches and in particular the isolated Sunset Beach accessible by a short 10-minute walk through the forest, there is nothing to visit there. On the other hand, you can go and discover the surrounding islands and in particular the astonishing Emerald Cave in Koh Muk. You can also do some nice snorkeling excursions to the islands of Koh Waen and Koh Chueak or an excursion to the sublime Koh Rok, further away.

Located on Koh Mook island just opposite to Koh Kradan, this cave opens onto a skylight with a lovely beach. From Koh Kradan, the easiest way to get there is to rent a longtail boat from the beach.

Sunset Beach

This small beach located on the west coast of the island of Koh Kradan offers a beautiful viewpoint to watch the sunset. On the other hand, as a beach to relax and swim, it has a huge flaw, which even makes me advise to avoid it. Too bad!

Other visits suggestions in Koh Kradan

  • Ko Waen and Ko Chueak islands
These small islands are ideal for snorkeling: corals, fish, transparent waters. You can rent a longtail baot to get there. There are also boats going there from Pak Meng on the mainland.
