Visit Ban Sao Luang weaving village (Nan)
Presentation Ban Sao Luang weaving village
g_translate Thai name : บ้านซาวหลวง
reviews My opinion:
starstarstar
About twenty kilometers from Nan city center, Baan Sao Luang weaving village houses several small workshops but the most interesting place is the one I placed on the map below. There are several looms and you will always find people working there. There is only one person who can speak English so here again the language barrier will limit the exchanges, this is often the case when you leave the tourist trail, but you can still observe the meticulous work of weaving. I advise you to do a whole half-day program between here,
Ban Bo Suak, village of potters and the
Baan Nawarat sum gai spa. And if possible, come with a Thai who can do the translation for you (a tuk-tuk driver who speaks English for instance), it will be much more interesting ! Without translator, the spa will still worth the detour.

How to get to Ban Sao Luang weaving village ?
There is no public transport to come here. You will have to come by yourself or rent the services of a tuk-tuk driver (choose one that speak English if you can) that I recommend you hire to Ban Bo Suak, the spa of Ban Nawarot and Ban Sao Luang.
