Sangkhlaburi is known for its Mon bridge, the community of this mountain ethnic group organizes every year this big festival. She devoted several months to built impressive big boats called 'pohamord'. Local tradition requires that after a two-day celebration, these bamboo boats be loaded with food and released on the water. This cargo serves to pay tribute to the deceased ancestors and friends and to feed them.It is a privileged moment to visit the small mountain town of Sangkhlaburi.
