Transport to go to Khao Lak / leave Khao Lak

To go to Khao Lak ?

Khao Lak is located approximatly 75 km in the North of Phuket. The easiest way togo there is to go to Phuket and take a taxi or catch a bus on Highway 4 ( 5 minutes from the airport ). Buses to Takua Pa , Ranong or Surat Thani stop at Khao Lak ( Phuket - Khao Lak, approximatly 2h ). You can also go to Surat Thani and take a bus to Khao Lak ( near the train sation ). From Bangkok, there buses from Southern Bus Terminal ( Saï Taï Mai ) to Surat Thani.
There also daily minivans from Krabi to Khao Lak, ask local travel agencies.

Leave Khao Lak ?

The buses leaving the Khao Lak city depart from the station in front of Nang Thong supermarket. You can go to Phuket or Surat Thani and reach any destination from there.
