Also called Golden Mount, the translation of its Thai name, it is outside, in the northwest of the city. It actually looks like a mountain with its imposing staircase structure and its chedi at the top. A few golden splashes are framing pranks with Buddhas and decorate the tip of this white stone temple chedi. You can climb it and watch the surrounding countryside.
On the road leading to Wat Phu Khao Thong hundred meters before arriving, you will come across a statue of King Naresuan.
