Located on a roundabout a few meters from the Prang Sam Yod, this shrine is like the monkey headquarters. The building itself has little interest for tourists except to see the faithful making offerings to the ancient Vishnu statue affixed with a Buddha’s head but outside, the monkeys are very numerous especially on the lawn on the left transformed into "feeding area".
Be careful, monkeys, if they look nice, can be aggressive sometimes. One thing is certain, if you have things that go beyond your bags, they will seize them and you will have to struggle to get them back. I also have to remind you that rabies is not eradicated in Thailand and that in case of a monkey bite, you need to quickly go to the hospital for a protocol of injections.
