All information & tips to prepare your trip in Thailand
Phi Phi Ley Lagoon, also called Pileh Lagoon, is a beautiful natural enclave of turquoise blue sea. This turquoise lagoon on Koh Phi Phi Leh, framed by spectacular limestone cliffs, is part of the Haad Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park. Ideal for swimming and a little snorkeling, it is often included in excursions to Koh Phi Phi that visit Maya Bay Beach. Tours often also include the Viking Cave, which you pass by, and Monkey Beach. To avoid the crowds, opt for an early morning tour.
Like Maya Bay, Phi Phi Ley Lagoon is part of the Haad Noppharat Thara-Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, which requires an entrance fee. But since all tourists who visit the lagoon also visit Maya Bay, it's at Maya Bay that you have to pay.
To get to Phi Phi Ley Lagoon, you must either rent a longtail boat or purchase a boat tour that goes there. This is the case for almost all tours that go to Maya Bay.
