The Nong Bua Thai Dessert Market also known as Nong Bua Walking Street is a charming little market located in the Na Yai Am district of Chanthaburi province, known for its traditional Thai desserts made by hand according to recipes passed down from generation to generation. The Nong Bua Dessert Market takes place every Saturday and Sunday morning, generally from 7am to 1pm. It's advisable to go early to enjoy the largest selection and avoid the heat.
The market is located in Nong Bua Village, in Na Yai Am District, about 35 km south of Chanthaburi City, not far from the famous Wat Pak Nam Khaem Nu (Blue Temple). From Chanthaburi City, it takes about 45 minutes by car or scooter. You must arrive by private vehicle or with a local driver, as public transportation is limited in this rural area.
