The Doi In Cee (pronounced doi in sii ) is a mountain about ten kilometers from Chiang Rai. At its summit, there is a temple which welcomes mainly nuns. There is a large white Buddha seated and facing him a large terrace with breathtaking views of the Chiang Rai Valley. When the weather is clear, we can see quite far and see the large white statue of the Wat Huay Pla Kung . Curiosity here is the guinea fowl, peacocks and white peacocks that roam freely.

Taking the road that goes down behind the Big White Buddha, you arrive at the temple itself which is very recently built. A large standing white Buddha sits in front of the viharn which houses a reclining white Buddha. Sometimes, in the room under the ordination hall, a monk performs the meditative walk and it is not uncommon to see fallow deer near the temple. It must be said that the place is very little used.
