Ao Thalane is located about thirty kilometers from Krabi town. If the bay is the starting point for longtail boats tour to Koh Hong island, it is especially popular for kayaking in the sea surrounded by impressive karst formations, small offshore islands and mangroves in which you can observe rare birds, monkeys, crabs, walking fish...

You can choose to paddle yourself or have someone else do it for you. There are several offers and packages, I recommend you spend at least half a day here.
