Things to do in Krabi

• Kayaking either in Ao Thalane, so in the sea, or in Klong Root (Clear Water Canal) on the river and the lake. Personally, I liked both, so I wouldn't know how to choose!
• Discover Phang Nga Bay and James Bond Island on a longtail boat or speedboat tour offered by local agencies in Ao Nang or Krabi town. It's less common to do this excursion from Krabi than from Khao Lak or Phuket, but it's also available.
• Go to the weekend Walking Street in town to eat there, there is a wide choice of local street food, to shop for souvenirs and to attend the shows given on the stage
• Watch the sunrise at Ding Daeng Doi Viewpoint. The view and setting are incredible. There's even a small eatery selling breakfast.
• Admire the sunset over Phang Nga Bay from the Khaothong Viewpoint and its restaurant and bar.
