Your Travel Guide to Thailand
All information & tips to prepare your trip in Thailand
The bike tour lasts approximately 3 hours.
You can schedule it for the morning or afternoon, depending on your preferences and Pond's availability.
Pond is a resident of Bang Krachao, which he knows like the back of his hand. He's been cycling there since he was a child. Here, only two-wheeled vehicles travel on narrow, elevated paved roads. It can be a little tricky on the turns (be careful!), but it's fun and a real change of scenery!
The tour is more interesting on weekends because the few places offering workshops, and especially the Bang Namphueng floating market, are not open during the week. On weekends, many Bangkok residents come to Bang Krachao for a rural getaway. But it's still very pleasant during the week because the place is truly amazing, a real change of scenery, and peaceful compared to the very busy Bangkok with its heavy traffic.
Pond speaks English but does not speak French. You can book a tour with a specific location by clicking the button that will redirect you to his Facebook page. It is advisable to book in advance! Don't hesitate to mention that you found it on the Thailandee website in your message!
Personally, I don't recommend doing this tour with children. These narrow, elevated roads can be a bit treacherous. Also, the rental companies don't really have child seats, but rather luggage racks that you can sit on. And they don't have children's bikes either, which is better because it's difficult for a child to stay on course.
Prices start at 600 THB for a 2.5 to 3-hour tour.
The price includes bike rental.
