Must-sees & Must-Dos in Roi Et?

What to do and see in Roi Et

People mainly come to Roi ET to see the great standing Buddha located at Wat Buraphaphiram. Otherwise, the Somdet Phra Sri Nakharin Phalanchai Park in the middle of lake is a nice place to relax and discover a beautiful walking Buddha statue. Wat Klang Ming Muang whose ordination hall has outdoor murals is also interesting. One of the buildings has a staircase to the top and offers a beautiful 360 degrees view over Roi Et and the Great Buddha.
Otherwise, 70 km from Roi Et, is the Wat Pha Nam Yoi (also called Wat Pha Thep Prasit Namthip Wanaram), probably the most beautiful temple in the province.

My opinion :

Its giant standing Buddha image which is nearly 60 meters high is the best known monument in Roi Et. It is also the largest of its kind in Thailand and the statue makes the city all around the country.
