What to do and see in Nang Rong

Visitors come to Nang Rong for what is outside the city: the magnificent Phanom Rung, beautiful Khmer temple. There are other buildings in the area, beautifully restored Muang Tam for instance, which also worth to visit. And the rural landscapes of the region will make your journey here very enjoyable.

Khmer temple built on top of an extinct volcano . You access to it by a long paved walkway and a beautiful staircase. Very unique! With the temple of Phimai, these are the two finest Khmer temples in Thailand.
