Wat Ton Kaew is a small temple located on a charming little street on the other side of the river, after crossing the bridge facing Wat Phra That Haripunchai. The temple is interesting, especially for its gate with its paintings and its enclosure wall covered with lovely street art. It is located just after a crossroads that is the prettiest in Lamphun!
After visiting Wat Phra That Haripunchai, I highly recommend crossing the bridge. Sometimes there is a small night market held there, but during the day the street is pleasant, with shops where you can buy local handicrafts as souvenirs, a restaurant offering the famous longan noodle soups—the emblematic fruit of Lamphun province—and a beautiful crossroads and walls adorned with superb street art. There is little traffic. You can also visit Wat Ton Kaew which, besides its magnificent gates, also has a weaving workshop. It is the most picturesque part of the Ban Wiang Yong neighborhood.

Like the rest of the Ban Wiang Yong area, it's very easy to explore on foot. Between Wat Haripunchai, Pratu Ta Nang, and this area, everything is less than a 10-minute walk away.
