Wat Thipsukhontharam is best known for its vast park with bushes and shrubs drawing a magnificent design where a large 32 meters tall standing Buddha stands. The statue was built in 2012 (while the construction of the temple dates from 2004) to amrk King Bhumibol Adulyadej 84th and Queen Sirikit 80 Th anniversaries. It is the highest bronze Buddha image in Thailand. It is mainly for it that tourists come here. The tempel simple ordination hall houses a replica of Buddha Chinnarat housed at Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat in Phistanulok but smaller.
There is also a small museum.

How to get to Wat Thipsukhontharam Big Buddha ?
I am not aware of a local bus to come here but as the temple is close to a major road it is likely that the songtheaws to U-Thong or buses to Suphanburi can drop you nearby. Check at Kanchanaburi Bus Terminal.
