Presentation Wat Si Chum

Thai name : วัดศรีชุม
My opinion:
A little outside the historical park, this temple is often overlooked by visitors. it is a pitty ! Wat Si Chum is remarkable for its huge sitting Buddha covered with stucco. This is the largest of this type in Thailand. It is 15 meters high. An opening in the front wall allows you to discover it long before entering the building that houses it. In front of the Buddha, you feel so small.

Practical information about Wat Si Chum

Entrance fee: 100 THB (this is normally the price for the whole sector but the counter to sell and control tickets is only in front of Wat Si Chum)

How to get to Wat Si Chum ?

There is about 1km of cycling between the central part of the historical park and Wat Si Chum.
