I indicated in the title the name of the temple on GoogleMap but the inhabitants and signs on the spot refer to it under the name of . The interest of this small temple in the village of Ban Na Phung 25 kilometers from the Dansai city is its ancient ordination hall, dating from the 17th century of which there are old exterior murals depicting the lifestyle and religious tales. Its wooden tiled roof called Pik Nok is typical of Loei province architecture.

It's up to you to decide if you want to visit Wat Pho Chai Na Phueng but the temple has a real historical interest. You also have some nice viewpoints in the area appreciated for their sea of ??mist and sunrises in the morning: the Phu I Loet and Phu Hin Sao. I didn't go to see them due to a lack of time but apparently there is a service of tractors driven by locals to take you to the summits, that seems fun to do !
