Wat Ming Muang Temple is located a hundred meters on the right of Wat Phumin. Completely white except for its red roof tiles, it is one of the surprising monuments of Nan city. Nothing compared to
White Temple Chiang Rai but it remains interesting to visit.
Founded in 1857, Wat Ming Muang also houses Nan City Pillar. The main hall of the temple is covered with white cement carvings illustrating the life of Lord Buddha but not only. There are also ... dinosaurs. I will not tell you where they are and I let you search alittle but look more carefully at the rear of the temple. The interior of Wat Ming Muang is decorated with modern murals showing the different aspects of Lanna life.
