Pha Soet Hot Springs Chaingrai
There are many hot springs in the mountains of Chiang Rai Province. Among them, the Phra Soet Hot Springs are only twenty kilometers from the city and have the advantage of offering a mineral swimming pool (water temperature is around 39 ° C) in which you can swim while relaxing. If you prefer more privacy, there are also hard bungalows with private pools but personally, I much prefer the swimming pool.

As often in hot springs in Thailand, you can buy small bamboo baskets containing eggs and boil them in pools where the water is over 73 °C. It takes 15 minutes for an hard egg. Note that there is also a small restaurant.

Practical information about Pha Soet Hot Springs

The entrance to the site is free but access to the pool costs 30 THB per adult and 10 THB per child without time restriction except that it is advisable to stay only 15 minutes in a row in the hot water (but you can get out, go back ect ...). If you do not have a towel, they rent towels for 20 THB. There also are lockers for your belongings and showers and toilets.
Please note that the mineral swimming pool is closed on Mondays and Thursdays. The private bath costs 50 THB per hour per person.
