On Sukhumvit Road, just before Jomtien Beach, Pattaya Floating Market, also called the four Regions Floating Market has recently been built and if it is obviously a commercial project, unlike many other floating markets built in recent years Thailand has a more traditional look. Here, almost everything is made of wood and bamboo which makes it a more rustic than the counterparts of Ayutthaya and Hua Hin to name a few place. There are regular events especially in the afternoon: Thai boxing on a beam, Thai dance performances on water ect ... And you can hire a boat for a ride of about thirty minutes on the market channels. Besides the souvenir shops, clothing, handicrafts, of course you will find restaurants and small stalls that cook on their boats and offer all kinds of Thai specialties.
If you have not yet had the opportunity to visit a floating market, a small tower should have fun here if this is not the most interesting floating market of the country but it's still a nice place to hang out place, do a little shopping and a bite to eat. Note that just across the street is the Dinosaur Adventure Park.
