To go to Pattaya ?

To go to Pattaya, the most convenient way is to take the bus. From Bangkok there are buses at least every hour and the journey only takes two hours. You can take the bus at Ekkamai Bus Terminal or Mochit Bus Terminal (you can book your tickets online HERE). Pattaya has its own airport, in Utapao. Flights from Koh Samui and Phuket go to Pattaya. And there are only one or two trains a day stopping there.

Leave Pattaya ?

To leave Pattaya to Bangkok whatsoever (departs every hour at least) or go to Isan or to the East, bus is still the most convenient transportation. You can book your bus tickets to Bangkok HERE. There is only a very few trains (around one per day). Flights from Utapao airport can connect you to Koh Samui or Phuket.
