Your Travel Guide to Thailand
All information & tips to prepare your trip in Thailand
Located atop a hill in the north of the island, this viewpoint offers a pretty, if not exceptional, but interesting view of the sea, with a small sandbar occasionally protruding from the water. For me, it should be included in an island tour by tuk-tuk (or by bicycle, though it's a bit more strenuous, even if the road leading up isn't that steep; I've done it).
Note that there's the option of climbing a little higher up the mountainside opposite Koh Sukorn Viewpoint on the other side of the road. It's a bit of a climb, but not very difficult, and the view is even better!
You might think it's a nice spot to watch the sunset, but personally, I prefer Ban Tha Laem Pier for seeing twilight. Especially since afterwards you can walk along Watermelon Beach and Ban Thung Beach.
