Visit Giant Tree (Kanchanaburi)

Thai name : ต้นจามจุรียักษ์
My opinion:
Located about twenty kilometers from the city center, this giant century-old raintree is one of the major attractions in Kanchanaburi. It must be said that with its 15 meters diameter trunk from which several ramifications start, its height of 20 meters but above all its wingspan of more than 25 meters, in the shape of a giant parasol, it is really majestic. You will find it in GoogleMap under the name of "Giant Raintree" while the panel on there says Giant Monkey Pod Tree.

In September 2018, a raised walkway was built around Kanchanaburi Giant Tree so visitors do not walk on its roots.
