In addition to the famous Phi Ta Khon festival held on a weekend once a year in Dansaï small town, Loei province has some of the most beautiful mountains in Thailand, temples with their specificities, the charming Chiang Khan city on the banks of the Mekong river and also a Tai Dam village which likes to share its traditions and dances with visitors and where you can spend the night. There are nice visits and discoveries here but it is better to have your transportation or use the service of a guide even if by renting a car with the information you can find on this website, you can already do a lot of interesting things in Loei.
