The Trang Vegetarian Festival is a traditional chinese festival held in October every year. People become vegetarian and dress in white for 9 days and nights. This should bring them good fortune. There are also processions and thousands of firecrackers, creating a deafening din. Mediums also perform supernatural feats to show the spirit in them.
