Which beach to choose for your stay in Koh Lanta?

Koh Lanta stretches for about thirty kilometres, with a string of beaches along its west coast. The further south you go, the wilder and quieter the island becomes. Ferries arrive in the north at Saladan, where most shops are located.

Klong Dao and Long Beach (Pra Ae), near Saladan, are convenient and perfect for families. Klong Khong attracts budget travellers with its laid-back bars, Klong Nin offers a beautiful and more peaceful beach, and the southern bays such as Kantiang have more secluded hotels.
