It is the most visited national park in Thailand. And it is one of the most beautiful national parks in the world as its listing as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005 confirms. It is an amazing place for nature, fauna, and flora lovers. One of the best places to trek in the jungle and see wildlife and it is not so far from Bangkok. Generally, people visit it from Pak Chong, the city closest to its main entrance, the Northern entrance.

This quite unique temple built on several floors on a mountain 12 kilometers from the northern entrance to Khao Yai National Park is especially interesting for its very astonishing architecture loaded with a lot of details and small atypical and varied elements.

This small shaded stretch of river near Khao Yai National Park is a great spot for swimming in a natural pool. The water here is crystal clear with an intense sapphire blue. This is due to a natural phenomenon as the one found at Krabi's Emerald Pool.

starstarstar We come to this cave for the amazing spectacle of the millions of bats that live there flying out at nightfall, then returning in the early morning, always in a long, endless black cloud. An impressive nature spectacle that lasts more than 2 hours.
