To go to Phetchabun ?
The only way to go to Phetchabun with public transport is by bus. From the neighboring provinces Phitsanulok or Loei or from Bangkok. Allow 6-7 hours by bus from Mochit Terminal, Bangkok's Northern bus terminal. Another solution to come to Phetchabun from Bangkok, is to take a flight to Phistanulok at Don Muang airport then a bus at one of the two bus terminals of the city. Reaching Phitsanulok by train from all the towns on the Northern train line and then taking a bus is also generally the best option to go to Phetchabun from all these towns. Likewise, leaving Phetchabun by transport will require starting with a bus leaving to t least reach Phitsanulok and continue from there by train or plane ( flights to Bangkok only).
