Visit Yomjinda Road (Old town) (Rayong)

Yomjinda Road is the most emblematic street in Rayong old town. With its old wooden houses, its small shops, its small museum, its local cuisine restaurants, and its canal-side community, it is undoubtedly one of the most pleasant arteries to stroll or have lunch in Rayong city.

Do not also miss the small Chinese temple, Chao Mae Tubtim Shrine, and the Street Art paintings on its walls and the neighboring walls.

Every Saturday evening, from 4 p.m., the street becomes pedestrianized to accommodate the stalls of a night market called Walking Street in Thailand. You will mainly find a large choice of local food but also stalls selling art, crafts, clothing and a few other products. Do not go there from 4 p.m. but rather around 6 p.m. when the street is at its busiest and all the merchants have finished setting up.
