Visit Wat Ratchabophit (Bangkok)

Built in 1869 during King Rama V reign, Wat Ratchabophit welcomes you through doors on which the soldiers are carved. The temple consists in a large chedi surrounded by a central courtyard and a rounded wall beautifully decorated with mosaics with large doors at tha four corner and a main building whose upper gallery is reminding the architectural style of some European castles or palaces. This temple located a few blocks from Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Po is rarely visited by tourists who swarm in the alleys of its illustrious neighbors. Nevertheless it is, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful and interesting Bangkok.
