Wat Pa Phu Phachan is a forest temple located 70 kilometers from Nakhon Ratchasima city. Its most interesting part is at the very top behind the temple itself with Buddhas and Buddhist figures carved into the walls of the mountain. They are in the process of sculpting new ones and the final result should be even more beautiful than my photos which date from May 2022 show.
Be careful, there is another temple of the same name in the province of Ubon Ratchathani ! This one is not a must visit in Nakhon Ratchasima province and so maybe don't take a long drive just to see this temple. But if you pass not far in a journey between Khao Yai and Nakhon Ratchasima city (also called Khorat), there, yes, go have a look !

How to get to Wat Pa Phuphachan ?
Wat Pa Phuphachan is lost in the forest, there is no public transport to get there. Be careful, the road in the forest that leads to Wat Pa Phu Phachan has many holes. It may be renovated by the time you get there, but be careful.
