Located in the city, in one of the two Walking Streets, 50 meters from the bus station, this is probably the temple in front of which tourists go more often when they stay in Pai and yet it is rarely visited. If its golden chedi attracts the eye with its night illimitations and garland bulb, Wat Klang's treasure is not its chedi. It is is a little building behing. There you will find a reclining Buddha carved from a block in a tree trunk and above it a sitting Buddha also carved in a massive trunk. Both accompanied by other items carved in wood.
It is surprising that most guides forget this little temple, and do not mention its little treasure.
