Visit Wat Khao Tham (Koh Phangan)

This small temple is on a mountain in the middle of the forest. Wat Kow Tahm is known for its view point and the meditation retreats that Rosemary and Steve Weissman, a German couple, regularly organize (for further information go on the meditation center website. The place is very quiet and serene. Very good for meditation center. Architecturally Wat Khao Tham does not worth the trip. It is a very basic temple. But its atmosphere and the nice view you have on the beach and Koh Samui on the other side of the sea from its little platform makes it a very interesting place. This is one of the best points on Koh Phangan to watch the sunset.

How to get to Wat Khao Tham ?

Wat Khao Tham is a temple and when you visit a temple in Thailand there are some rules to know and follow :
- Dress properly (knees and shoulders should be covered)
- Take off your shoes when entering the buildings
- Be quiet

- Don't smoke
