The Lampam Floating market if it is located at the water's edge is much more an on land market than a floating one but it remains a nice place to stroll, do some shopping and eat. It is held on Saturdays and Sundays at Lam Pam, 8 km from Phatthalung Railway Station. You can go there in the continuation of your possible visit of the Phatthalung Museum and Wat Wang but do not expect to find here a traditional Thai floating market as you may have seen in guide books. For that it will be better to go to Samut Songkhram at 1h30 from Bangkok.
