The tiny island of Koh Matsum (you'll also find the spelling Koh Madsum) is located a little off the south of Koh Samui. Neighbor of Koh Tan, it is generally on the program of boat tours to Koh Tan precisely whether via agencies or by hiring a longtail boat from Thong Krut beach.
In recent years, so-called wild pigs, I say so-called wild because they are not wild at all, have been introduced to the island to attract more visitors who come to take selfies with them on the beach. The island's lagoon is pleasant and photogenic, there is a small bar-restaurant and even a 4-star hotel, the The Treasure Koh Madsum on Koh Matsum island.
